go without hurt
when withering
any desire is caused by
a lack of appreciation
back to sleep
this hidden virtue is
a small belief
in the the difference
between good and better
remembering
all man's incarnations
are such and such bondage
forget the remoteness
of our efforts
a wiser virus
to incarnate pleasure
and vision this Nowhere
the paralysis of a lover
can be reduced to the
deceiver-self (unforgivable) ecstasies
along a memorial course
complete & escape me
generating everything else
deliberate acts
if your wings are
fearlessly
haunted
Computer poetry is warfare carried out by other means, a warfare against conventionality and language that has become automatized. Strange as it seems, our finite state automata have become the poet’s allies in this struggle, the long historical battle by which mankind pries into the surface of language to reveal its latent mysteries… R.W. Bailey, Computer Poems (1973)
