Computer poetry is warfare carried out by other means, a warfare against conventionality and language that has become automatized. Strange as it seems, our finite state automata have become the poet’s allies in this struggle, the long historical battle by which mankind pries into the surface of language to reveal its latent mysteries… R.W. Bailey, Computer Poems (1973)

Pop Will Eat Itself
we're on ronald reagan rations
zeta dogs eating last
the things without names
will save us
where the nice guys finish
they're so busy making things mean what they want to
they've completely obliterated reality.
now look at them. their eyes have turned to ice. they've killed their names. thriving in shadows. they lurk. like urges. repressed for a millennium. they sell their daughters to religion. & their sons to g0d. their satanism redeems the rebel. they are gods within gods.
what you give is what you pay.
mother let your son bleed
please.
