Because the greater great is
captured: to one that enters
to remain as salt: prancing barks

under a sky of ones

Computer poetry is warfare carried out by other means, a warfare against conventionality and language that has become automatized. Strange as it seems, our finite state automata have become the poet’s allies in this struggle, the long historical battle by which mankind pries into the surface of language to reveal its latent mysteries… R.W. Bailey, Computer Poems (1973)

Music for the 99%
Hello to you in the blogosphere. I have been busy lately, fiddling with this and that, posting over at Gnoetry Daily where the wild and wonderful world of computer-human collaborative poetry has produced a wonderful new chapbook compiled from that blog which features yours truly. It also features Eric Elshtain, Eric Scovel, Edde Addad, Matthew, and Nathaniel K. Smith (with a forward by none other than Chris Funkhauser)!
But I digress.
The Occupy Wall Street protests have me all fired up and I am pleased to supply a sound track for it. So to get things kicked off, here is NIN with "Head like a Hole".
